01The concept

Oliveen House is a fictional business we created to show how we approach hospitality: a restored 1898 Victorian house in Tamboerskloof with nine rooms, a breakfast terrace and a view of Table Mountain.

02The brief

Make guests fall for the house in the first screen, show every room with honest prices, and give them a reason to book direct instead of through a booking site, in rand, dollars, pounds or euros.

03What we built

A quiet, confident brand

An olive-leaf mark, a deep olive, sand and terracotta palette and Fraunces with DM Sans type, set out in brand guidelines.

Booking from the first screen

Dates, guests and room type over the hero photo, so checking availability takes one tap on a phone.

Reasons to book direct

Best-rate promise, small extras and multi-currency card payment, so guests skip the booking-site commission.

The neighbourhood sells the stay

Walking times to Kloof Street, Lion’s Head, the Waterfront and the wine farms, answered before guests ask.
