01The concept
Summit Coffee is a fictional business we created to show how we approach coffee brands: a specialty roaster and café buying from smallholder farms around Kiambu.
02The brief
Build a brand that stands out on a supermarket shelf, looks sharp in a café and travels well to hotels, corporate gifting and export buyers.
03What we built
The peak and the bean
A snow-capped peak with a coffee bean rising like the sun, deep forest, ember, crema and sage, with Space Grotesk and IBM Plex Sans.
Top-shelf packaging
Matte deep-green pouches and tins with gold foil, showing origin, altitude, process and tasting notes.
Café and gifting range
Cup sleeves, drip-bag boxes and numbered collector tins for hotels and corporate gifts.
Brand guidelines
Logo use, colours, packaging templates and photo style in one brand book.
